November 29, 1929 WILMETTE DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE '.l'his week Miss Larson, our history teacher, told us she had a surprise for us. After recess Miss Moore came in and tWerybody yelled, "A test," but Miss Larson said, "No." We all asked what it was then but she would not' tell. Then Miss Moore went to our history maps :tnd started to talk at.Jout the Greeks and t.he Trojan war. After she was through Miss Larson asked how many liked the talk and we all raised our hands, so Miss Larson said i·liss Moore would talk to us again the r.ext day. It wa:-; a close game, 8C Stolp hc,lding Howard 3 to 0 at the end of the first half. At the last of the second half the whistle blew and SC Stolp was astonished to hear that 8B got a penalty kick.
