The second round of the basketball league conducted by the \Vilmette Playground and Recreation board started last Wednesday evening with the addition of two new teams. The Printing Studio team and the English Lutheran team brings up the number of teams in the league to 12. The interest in basketball as seen by Recreation officials is greater this season than in the two previous years the board has conducted the yearround program in all spo'rts. The teams are more evenly matched than ever before and the first round of the current season has seen the "rise" of some of the weaker teams and the weakening of teams heretofore leaders of the league. Games are played on Wednesday evenings at both Stolp and Howard gymnasiums except during the last week of the schedule when games will be played three times each week at both gymnasiums to bring the season to a close before the Easter vacation. Games are open to the public and there is no admission. K . of C II ('i·O St. J oseph (21) Jame .· :\Iont'n'ra R. F. Bob Sanderson James Phillips L. F. Peter Wagner Roy Leonard C.
