The picture is a modern ~11me ntar~' on the effect of women in politics. .Miss Rich p lays the part of a wealthy yo ung widow whose· daughter is in love with the son of her opponent for the mayoralty. The mayor when younger and in poore r circumstances had been a suiter for the hand of Miss Rich. Affairs become compli cated when a confederate of the mavor steals th e daughter in order to hurt the chances of the ladv cand idat e. Pursuit of the pair, rescue of the gir l, and a fight between the thug and the young lover in which the mavor is accidentally (though not fa tall.\;) shot , provide the film with plenty of action.
