Gary Cooper '3cores another hit in this film. He has "that" which, for men actors, is the same thing as "it., for vvomen actors. Gary has proved it in many strong parts. but 111 none of his picture:; has he excelled so ·completelv as in "The Shop\'v·orn Angel." ~ March 2 at the Norshore, will be shown at that theater beginning this Saturday, March 9. To repeat our story of last week, the plot of "The Wedding March" is laid in Vienna where live the Prince and Princess Rauffenburg and their son, Prince Nicki. Prince Nicki. is a problem to them. for he gambles, steps ·out with the girls, and acquires debts which his parents have no money to pay. Prince and Princess Rauffenburg contrive to have Nicki marry the lame Corn Plaster king's daughter. The young prince is complacent until, magnificent on his hor se on Corpu:; Christi clav. his e\'es meet the eyes of ~1itzi Sclirammef, daughter o( beer garden o·wners and deeply desired by a horrible butcher. At thi s point the story becomes even more interesting. Eric von Stroheim, who directed the production, has the part of Prince Nicki, and Fay Wray plays Mitzi. George Fawcett has the part of the elder Prince Rauffenburg. The picture has been praised by movie critics for the beauty of its staging and photo~ graphy, excellence of its acting, and the charm of its musical sychronization.
