Arthur, is to be the Teatro del Lago attraction this Saturday, March 30. The story is an original for the screen written by Byron Morgan, author of "Rookies," first co-starring production of Dane and Arthur, and depicts life in the navy in the same hilarious fashion t~at the earlier picture portrayed army ltfe. Josephine Dunn, new and promising young leading lady on the M. G. M.lot, has the principal feminine role. In "The Wedding March," which will be shown Easter Sunday, March 31, at the Teatro, Eric von Stroheim heads a remarkable cast of screen favorites in a production which he also directed. and which presents a moving story of Vienna in the days before the World war. There is much that is spectacular in this picture, and superior acting is one of its admirable qualities. Fay Wray, George Fawcett, and ZaSu Pitts are among those in the supporting cast. From Michael Arlen Story Greta Garbo and John Gilbert make their third appearance together on the screen in 41 A Woman of Affairs," which opens a two-day engagement at the Teatro del Lago next Monday, April 1. It will be remembered that the cinemagoing public showed a more than lively interest in the acting of Miss Garbo and Mr. Gilbert in 'Flesh 41 and the Devil" and then in "Love." A Won1an of Affairs" is the screenization of the Michael Arlen story, "The Green Hat," and we'll wager that's enough said. "Ned McCobb's Daughter," coming to the Teatro next Wednesday, April 3, presents Irene Rich in the role of an unhappily married young woman, the wife of a former convict who keeps a restaurant on the coast of Maine. Her .husband steals $2,000 from a transportation company and, when his criminality is revealed, she obtains that amount from a bootlegger to prevent her husband's arrest. The bootlegger makes her home the base of his rum running operations, and this leads up to a series of thrilling events. The picture is an adaptation of Sidney Howard's Theater Guild drama which scored heavily in New York and elsewhere. Stupendous Production The South of old, with its charming gallantry and beautiful women, .is colorfully transported to the screen m "Uncle Tom's Cabin," the stupendous Universal-Pollard production which will open at the Teatro del Lago next Thursday, April 4, for a run of three days. The picture is based on the immortal novel of the same name by Harriet Beecher Stowe, and is said to have been produced at a total cost of $2.()()().()()(). 4 JoHN Real Estate Grtenleaf 2 700 F.
