Question Kenilworth Girl Scouts Will Residents on Storm Hold Award Court Water Sewer Project Tonight at Church The Wilmette Girl Scout troops will hold their Court of Awards · tonight at the Wilmette Parish Methodist church. A dinner for all Girl Scouts and their families will take place at 6 :30, and the program and awarding of badges will begin ·promptly at 7:45 o'clock. Evervone interested in Girl Scouting is co-rdially invited to attend the program this evening. The village officials of Kenilworth have realized for several years that the old combined system of sanitary and stQrm sewers has been inaq~quate t"o take care of the surplus water during severe storms. The officials hesitated, however, to impose the burden of cost of a storm sewer system on the taxpayers until su~h an improvement was absolutely necessar,. and until it was desired by a majority of the property owners of Kenilworth. Dr. Franklin Martin, a former resident of Kenilworth, now internationally known through his work with the Gorgas institute, is reported ill in Panama City, where he had gone to participate in the memorial exercises for General Gorgas. --aMrs. Richard Johnston of Melrose avenue, left Kenilworth on Wednesday of this week for New York City to meet her daughter, Ruth, who has spent the winter in Switzerland with Frederick Clerk of New Trier and his daughter. -aMrs. Rufus Stolp, 336 Warwick road, Kenilworth entertained a few friends at -luncheon on Wednesday in honor of Mrs. Percival Cutler, who has recently moved to Kenilworth. Harry P. ~arrison, 307 Abbottsford road, Kemlworth made the presentation speech. Mrs. Oliver Barrett of Abbottsford road, Kenilworth, is leaving this week Saturday, for six months abroad.
