He reports that the camp property, besides including the larger Spring Lake has a smaller take in connection, that is suitable for boating and fishing. The vroperty is very near another large lake, the size of Spring Lake. He tells of the tracks and evidences of much wild life including porcupine, deer, muskrat, and possibly wolf. Mr. Roberts states that the ice home has already been built and is filled with ice . Lumber is piled at the lake shore for the new lodge to be constructed as soon as weather permits. This recognition by the national Scout Headquarters of Journalism activities in this council is an indication of the wide-spread interest in this work.
