On request of several parents who have asked for a list of books suitable for reading aloud to their children Miss Winifred Bright, children's lib~ rarian at the Wilmette Public library has submitted a Jist, recommended b~ the Vermont State Department of Education. All of these volumes, With the exception of "Pinocchio Under the Sea," will be on display in the children's room at the library. Miss Bright states that the only difference between this list and the regular library list is that the books recommended by the Vermont State Department of Education are suitable for children who are not so far advanced in their knowledge.
