New Pierce · Arrow in 15 Months' Time on French Highways Another milestone in GrahamPaige progress was reached when the IOO,OOOth Graham-Paige car was built, just fifteen months after th~ new line of sixes and eights was mtroduced, according to Carl Hanson of Winnetka, Graham-Paige dealer. Graham-Paige motor cars, distin guished by the four-sl?eed transmiss.ion with standard gearshtft, attracted Immediate ~nd widespread 1 acceptance when introduced in January, 1928, by the three Graham brothers. The steadily increasing sales soon taxed the already large and well-equipped manufacturing facilities of GrahamPaige, and since then construction crews have been at work almost continuously enlarging existing plants and erecting new ones. More than $10,000,000 have been invested in plants and equipment. Graham-Paige now owns and operates two separate manufacturing planti at Detroit, three 'large modernly equipped body plants, one at Wayne, Michigan, and two at Evansville, Indiana; and a lumber mill at Perry, Fla. New factories and additions have more than doubled the floor area of Graham-Paige plants since the three Graham brothers acquired ownership control. The total is now well over 2,000,000 square feet. 1 Quaker State Oils 3Se Per Quart ---i· a fair retail price for Quaker State Medium Oil wh·en served from bulk. Cut prices encourage substitution.
