10 WILMETTE LIFE May 17, 1929 Mn. Carolina Lotter, 78, Dies at Daughter's Home Mrs. Carolina Lotter passed away on May 3 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Orth, 522 Laurel avenue, Wilmette. Mrs. Lotter was 78 years old and had beeJl living with her daughter since 1925. Her death came after a long illness. Besides the daughter, Mrs. Orth, she is survived by two sons, Adolvh and . Leonard Lotter, both of Milwaukee, two grandsons, and a sister, who also lives in Milwaukee. The remains were taken to Milwaukee, where funeral .services were held Monday, May 6. Mrs. 0. \V. Bartlett of the Edgewater Beach hotel, formerly of Wilmette, will entertain a number of her Wilmette friends at luncheon tomorrow at the Edgewater Beach hotel in honor of her' new daughter-in-law, Mrs. Raymond Bartlett. Appears in Recital May 21 ERTRUDE WITTY, G coloratura soprano, will give a recital at the Evanston Country club Tuesday, May 21 , at 8:15 o'clock. Miss Witty sings her concert songs in the Spanish, Italian, French, German, and English language.;. Her voice has been developed by t h e celebrated M m e. Yanda La Capria, who has been her only teacher and whose genius has been enthusiastically proclaimed by leading artists, and critics. Mis·s Witty is a popular and well known Ravinia girl. She has an unusually charming and attractive voice. Her program is extensive and varied, giving her an opportunity to display her skill and technique. Mme. La Capria's skill as a teacher is shown in Mis·s Witty's ability to handle the difficult operatic arias that she has on her program. A brilliant career is promised to Miss Witty. She will be assi·sted in her Evanston appearance by Vincenzo La Capria, pianist, and Louis Glazer, flutist. TO HAVE ANNUAL MEETING The annual business meeting of the Kenih\·orth club will be held ·in the club lounge on Monday _ evening, May 20. at 8 o'clock. The officers of the club will submit their annual reports. Four ne,,· members- of the board of directors will be elected to serve for a term of three years, to succeed Burt Crowe, Louis Jones, Frank W. Ketcham, and William G.
