LIFE 15 Announc· e Entries for Glencoe Flower Exhibit on · June 5 The entries have been announced for the Flower show to be given by the Glencoe Garden club on Wednesday afternoon, June 5, from 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Battey, 453 Skokie road. All classes of entries an~ open to the public as well as to Garden club members, and each exhibit must have been grown by the exhibitor, the committee announces. Mrs. Charles H. Workman, Glencoe 348, is chairman of the 'exhibits, and information may be secured through her. To those who wish to enter, she will mail entry blanks. All exhibits are to be in her hands or in the hands of the committee not later than 11 o'clock the morning of the show. Each variety exhibited in competition is to be correctly labeled, and the exhibitor's . name given the committee. All containers except baskets and artistic vases will be furnished . . There are fourteen sections in Class 1, in exhibiting i~ses, as follows: collection of beardless Silerica, Spuria groups; irises raised from seed bv exhibitor. Specimen stalks of the following: bearded of self color; bearded white; bearded, white standards, falls of other colors; bearded, light shades frilled, flecked or dotted; bearded, yet- . low self light to dark; bearded yellow standards, falls of other colors; bearded, yellow blends such as afterglow; bearded bronze shades such dS ambassadeur; bearded, pink and lilac shades; bearded, blue shades: bearded, purple shades; arrangement in vase or bowl, Iris predominating.
