6 WILMETTE LIFE June 14, 1929 GRADUATION PROGRAM Winifred Townsend Cree Coast Guards Plan to Be Pupils to Give Recital Joseph Sears School in Kenilworth in New Location by Fall With the only legal barrier to moving the Evanston coast guard station . to \Vilmette harbor cleared away and an order to move eKpected to issue momenfarily from coast guard headquarters in Vvashington, Capt. Otto Fricke and his crew of guardsmen are looking forward to occupying the new location on the Wilmette lake front by fall Capt. Fricke has not received any confirmation of the rumors that headquarters has definitely decid~d to shift the station but looks on the move as highly probabie. If work is begun shortly the station should be ready for the crew by fall. In amending the statute establishing the \Vilmette park district to allow constructi'on of the new station on the harbor. the Illinois legi slature la st week opened the way for the change in loca:tion. \\'inifred Townsend Cree of 779 Foxdale avenue, Winnetka, will present her pupils in recital next Thursday evening, June 20, at 8 o'clock at Kenilworth Assembly hall. The accompanists \\·ill be Ernau Akely and \\.iniircd ~Iickcy.
