The sports committee, Frank Reid chairman announced the receipt of a challenge from the Evanston Real Estate hoard to engage in a golf tournament. At the conclusion of the meeting the members reiterated and again pledged their whole-hearted support to the following resolution, which was passed and adopted by the 't\orth Shore Real Estate .Board on Februar~· Z.l, 1917: "Resoh·ed that in the future we \\'ill not make leases or sales of real estate in our territory to any person or persons other than those oi the Cauca -ian race, and resolved that in the future \\'e \\'ill have embodied in all contracts and deeds wherever possible a covenant prohibiting the sale of real estate to all persons other than th ose of the Caucasian race." ~f rs.
