December 6, 1929 W·ILMETTE LIFE 55 The wedding of Miss Florence Selzer daughter of Mr.. and Mrs. John Selzer, 1601 Walnut avenue, Wilmette and Edward Schwall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schwall of Techny, Ill., took place Wednesday morning, I\ ovember 27, at St. Joseph's church, Wilmette, at 9:30 o'clock. The Rev. J. A. Neumann officiated at the ceremonv which was followed by a wedding breakfast for twenty-five guests at the home of the bride's parents. In the evening there was a larger reception for seventy friends and relative s, a buffet supper, and dancing. The bride wore a gown of white sat!n and a white tulle veil caught to a smc.ll cap of real lace trimmed with oran~e blossoms. She carried a large shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Frances Selzer, who attended her sister as maid of honor. wore a gown of yellow georgette and held a bouquet of white roses and \'ellow chrysanthemums. Orchid ·and pink georgette frocks were \\·orn by the bridesmaids, Miss Barbara Schw:1ll and Miss Josephine Schwall. sisters of the groom, and who carried bouquets of white roses and chrysanthemums. Bill Holmes, holder of the Suburban league record in the 100-yard free style, and Jim Bowman, league record holder for the 100-yard backstroke will be out again to better their ow~ marks. Harry Eisner, Ken Mertz and McCurdy are other veterans who race in the free-style events, and Foster and Banks will support Bowman in the backstroke. Chester Taylor and George Fuggitt lead the list of breaststrokers. Vance hopes to develop place-winning fancy divers out of Fogarty, Fee and George Borrowman. With the variety of talent on hand ; a good 160yard relay and good medley relay teams seem likelv. Senior and junior teams \\·ill be built to compete in a series of dual matches, the fir st of which will be with Deerfield, Jan. 7. The team will participate in the Cook county meet at the Uni· ,·ersity of Chicago Jan. 10 and at the national interscholastic at Nortlnn~st ern late in March . ~fr. and Mr s.
