Larimer, president of the north shore group. A national membership campaign is now in pro~ ress and a concentrated effort is being made by the Evanston league to materially boost its roll call of 200 members. The National Izaak Walton league had its inception in Chicago in 1922 and of its four presidents, the first two resided in Evanston and the third, the late Joseph M. Dickinson, a cabinet officer under President Taft, litred in Winnetka. \Vheaton Augur of vVil mette and \.Yilloughby G. \Valling of Winnetka are among the prese nt na tional officers. Concurrently with its drive for new members, the league is endeavoring to bring home more forcibly and. clearly the scope of its object s and accom olishments and is seeking a better un der standing and closer cooperation on the part of the puolic.
