December 20, 1929 . ___ I WILMETTE LIFE 15 Taken by Death ___, Fourteen New Contagious · Diseases Here This Week A total of fourteen new cases of contagious disease in the village was reported to the Wilmette Health department for the week end.ing Wednesday, December 18. These new cases included one of scarlet fever, one of pn eumonia, three of whooping cough, and nine of chicken pox. There are also two cases of chicken pox holding over and one case of whooping cough.
