Long, 401 Tenth street, died at the home of her son here last Satttrday at the age of 79 years. Mrs. Long had been failing in health since. August. A pioneer resident of Illinois, Mrs. Long was born in Rockford. Two years ago she came to \Vilmette to live with her son. Prior to that time she had lived in Chicago since 1884. Her husband died thirty year:;- ago. Mrs. Long was a member of the \Vil rnettc Parish Methodist Episcopal church and for many years she had been an active church worker.
