Redfield, 1131 Forest avenue Wilmette an official of the Goss Pri~ting Pres~ company, of Chica~o, died last Friday night in the Grant hospital, Chicago, at the age of 67 years. Mr. Redfield contracted an acute throat infection early last week from which he never recovered. _ Born at Lancaster, N. Y., Mr. Redfield was educated in the public schools of Lexington, Mich., and went to work when he was 16 years old in the office of the Sanilac County Jeffersonian, a Lexington newspaper. He was .macle manager of the Western Newspaper union in St. Louis seven years later, and served in that capacity for five years. Mr. Redfield later was with the Chicago Mailing company and was Chicago manager of Walter Scott .and company, printing press builders. Smce 1908 he had been with the Goss cblllpany, and at the time of his death was vice-president, sales manager, and a member of the company's board of di.: rectors. - Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Dollie James Redfield: a daughter, Natalie, and three sons, Walter A., James S., and Charles N. Redfield. The funeral services were held Mondav morning at 11 o'clock in the chapel at 1253-55 N. Clark street, Chicago, under the auspices of Birchwood lodge. No. 1012, A. F. and A. M.
