The pair entered the bank at 9 :26, and seven minutes later, with loot crammed in a hank hag, marked with the name of the Foreman-State hank of Chicago, made their exit through th e only doors, leading to Linden aYenue, entered a two-door Chrysler sedan parked at the curb and drove south. They were met at the door by the man armed with the revolver ~nd taken to the vault. · The vault door was closed but not locked. It is the custom of the bank when opening for business to extend the bolt locks and secure them to prevent this very oceurrance. The Hubbard \Voods Trust and Saving bank does not have a burglar alarm system. The police were notified by telephone and were quickly on the scene. This is the first bank robbery in the village. Few clues were left on which to work, other than a splendid description of the men who staged it. No effort will he spared to apprehend the robbers. The bank's loss is fully covered by insurance.
