The first part consists of patriotic song3 sung by :-nembers of the club, and the talk on " Lincoln and Literature" by Miss Hayes. Miss Ruth Hanak, concert pianist, wilt open the second part of the program with two groups of selections. 'fwo casts directed by Miss Mary Snyder of Northwestern universitv school of speech will present the one-act plays, "Fourteen" by Alice Gerstenberg-, and "For Distinguished Service" by Florence Clay Knox. The cast of "Fourteen" con sists of Mrs. H. G. Prosser, 803 Lake avenue, Miss Vera Leahy and Miss Alice Mark. Wilmette firemen answered two other calls during the last week, both of them on Saturday afternoon, February 1. One was · at 225 Central Park avenue, where a garage that ·was being remodeled into a residence caught fire, causing slight damage, and the other was at 907 Elmwood avenue, an automobile fire that did no damage. Mr. and Mrs. George Benson, 210 Melrose avenue, Kenilworth, are planning a trip south, spending a week at Palm Beach, a few days at Miami. St. Petersburg, and other places. They expect to leave February 10, and will be gone a month.
