Activities The Sports club, organized last year at New Trier High school, is one of the most active clubs in the school. The objects of the club, which meets every Wednesday, are: 1. T6 sponsor, promote and conduct intra-mural sports so . as to be consistent with the policies of the Department of Physical Education. 2. To . educate in methods of playing and officiating the various sports. 3. To propagate sportsmanship and a spirit of fair play in all interscholastic and intra-mural sports among spectators, officials and players; The membership is busy now in the midst of the intra-mural basketball schedule, which so far has been run off without a forfeit game. Fifty-three teams · are competing in three weight divisions and nine separate class leagues. The tournaments will con-tinue until March. Recently elected officers of the club are, Joe Berol, president: Joe Gathercoal, vice-president; Dave Riddle, secretary, and George Boylston, treasurer.
