Mrs. Emma T. Danforth, 97, formerly of Kenilworth, died Saturday in the Mather Home in Evanston, where she had lived for 13 years. Born in New York in 1868, she was the wife of the late Rev. George Danforh, who died over 50 years ago. Mrs. Danforth also had outlived her two sons, The Rev. Leland H. Danforth, former pastor of the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth, died in 1958. Another son, Chester, of Park Ridge died in 1959. She is survived by three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were held Monday in St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Evanston. The Rev. Robert Johnson, pastor of St. Mark's and the Rev. William O. Hanner, pastor of the Church of the Holy Comforter officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
