Burke, George H. Babcock (Died)

George H. Babcock Burke, 90, of Santa Clara, Cal., formerly of Wilmette, died Mar 1 in Santa Clara. Mr. Burke lived in Wilmette for 46 years before moving to the West Coast in 1966. He retired in 1955 as vice president of Sarco Co., Inc. He was a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and, while on the North Shore, a member of Wilmette Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Florence; a daughter, Miss Eileen Burke of New York City; a son, George Graham Burke of Palo Alto, Cal.; and four grandsons. Services were conducted in California.
