Mrs. Margaret L. Burke of Evanston and formerly of Wilmette died Mar. 11 in Evanston Hospital. Born in Milwaukee, Mrs. Burke had been a resident of Evanston for 14 years and prior to that had lived in Wilmette for 15 years where she was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Church. She had also been a member of the Wilmette Women's Club. She is survived b her husband, James L. Sr.; a son James L. Jr. of Glencoe; a daughter, Sister Mary Geremia, O.P., of Madison, Wis.; and a sister, Miss Mary Coffey of Evanston. Funeral services were held Mar. 14 at St. Mary's Church with Msgr. F. E. Hillenbrand and the Rev. M. J. Adams officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery, McHenry, Ill.
