His musicianly, playing and sensitive feeling, together with Mrs. Zendt's * atist.ic interpretations made for ex- * cellent ,ensemble. Mrs. Zendt's voice rivaled the to.ne of the flu.te, anid es- pecially in "Lo, Hear the Gentle, Lark" was this noticeable. She also sang ]Bach's "Tender Sheep Faithfully Cared For," and Gounod's "Serenade" with flute obbligato.
