Are Now Living That Family Camp The farily. camp at Ma-Ka-Ja- Wa snow' operating and preparing for new campers, the second and third periods4 .At'the tpresent, time Mr. and Mrs. Myron C. The swini- mers are helping to clear the area of ail stones and rocks in' order that rfuture viïsitors to the familiy camp will have a truly sandy beach. Up here we are having a very fine prograni this year, as in. other years-only1 better! .We have a very fine attend- ance of Wilmette scouts who are attaining a higher rank. We have had a nature hike and several camp fines. We go canoeing once a day and swimming twice a day. There is a pool for non-swimmiers, a pooi for beginners and a pool for menit- badge swimmers. There are many canoes, and mafly rowboats. There is "swell" fishing up here! Don't you want to corne to Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan? We are kept busy ail the time. We have canoeing, swim- ming, fishing, and work on scout tests, with excellent instruction for. every scout. And the food! Oh boy! Can Mr. Ross cook!'Ail .you want of good, healthful food. Maybe you don't k.now it, but singing~ is a lot of fun. We sing at every meal. Birds are singing everywhere. We are headed for Muskrat lake. Along the way, garter snake.s crawl quickly away.
