Sériblerus Club Hears Talk on O1ne-Act f'lays The Scriblerus club met in the Girls' Club rooni, Tuesday, February 14. Miss E lisabeth Stanwoôd of the highi school Englishg departmnent talked on the W*~riting of One-Act Plays," which proved very interesting and profitable. On Miss Stanwood's suggestion, vani- ous members are to choose a poein and f rom it try their luck at ,writing one- act plays.. This is a new project and it is hoped it wîil prove a success. The ,New Trier track inen were successfül in both divisions ag ainst iljniversity High of Chicago at the, former's field bouse Iast Friday. ln the senior division the score was 48 ta 20 and inthe junior, 313 to 182/3. In the senior group the only con-ý petition was given by Beal of Univer- sity High who won both the high hiurdles and the high jumnp. Price of New Trier won the mile with a beau- tiful spurt* past Lindenberg of Uni- versity High. The low hurdles werc won b'y Newton of New Trier with 1-andy of, University High, second.
