The picture bas been approved by the National council, Boy Scouts of America. Sam Meyers, the manager of the Teatro del Lago, has extended this invitation to Cubs, '~Boy Scouts, Sea Scouts and their leaders. Scout Drum and Bugle Corps Starts Practice T1lie drumn and bugle corps com- posed of Kenilworth Boy Scouts and Cubs will start its regular schedule of rehearsals next week. The corps this year is expected to be larger than that of last year, with an esti- mated membership of forty-flve. Proceeds of the circus stàged by the. boys of- the joseph Sears school iast spring are being used to purchase- new equipment for the drum and b)ugle corps. One Dozen Years Old? ThIen You Are Ready! A suggestion is offered to ail 12- year-old boys to accept the invitation of their friends to become scouts. Each neighboLrhood bas many troops to which boys can apply for member- ship. Inasmuch as a full program for fali is planned, boys will want to lono time in associating them- selves with some scout troop, the leaders declare. A boy must be 12 years old to be accepted in scout-ing, but a prograni for boys 9, 10, and Il years of -age is provided in Cubbiiig. Cubbing is ixot scouting, but is a pre- paratory program for younger boys who will some day want, to become scouts, it is explained.
