MPTTaP . l wSp*mbr Or.3 White: Is Keynote Of Burgess - Aldrichi Wedding Ceremony White marked the keynote for the marriage of Miss Vir- ginia Burgess of Wilmette and Paul Packard Aldrich of Win- netka last Saturday afternoon at the Wilmette Parish Metho- dist church. The bride wore a wbite satin prin- cess dress trimmed with beads and fashioned with long, tigbtfitting sleeves -an-d a high neck. Her thnee quarter Iength tulle veil was attacbed to a cononet of orange blossoms which had been worn by the bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Paul 1. Aldrichi, when she was a bride. The bridai bouquet was of white sweet peas, baby's breath, and wbite rosebuds. Miss Dorothy Burgess, who served ber sisten as maid of honor, wore a white crepe gown with a large blue taffeta sash. Her flowers.-were white gladiolus and blue Iarkspur. The two bridesmaids, Miss Margery Hume of Wilmette, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Helen Aldrich, wore dresses like the maid of honor!s, but their ashes were pink instead of blue, and their flowers were pink gladiolus. The bide's motber. Mrs. Charles E. Burgess, wore taavy blue crepe, a bat to match, and a sboulder corsage of .gardenias. Mrs. Aldrich was in a black veivet gown, and she wore a black velvet bat and a corsage of gar- denias. The -wedding ceremony Was per- formed at 4 o'ciock by tbe Rev.
