Mixed Up With Police Tuesday of last week John Tankie- viez and Theodore Vatroba, both of Detroit and eacbi 20 years old, were arrested as they atteipted to work a confidence gamne on the M1illen Hardware company, 1219 Wliniette avenue. Their plan wvas to take a can of paint front the shelf, and then p rofess that tbey had I utght the paint the day before, but found it unsuitable, and asked to have tbe purchase price refunded. Tbey had worked the game successfully on a hardware dealer at Hubbard Woods, who followed tbemi to the Millen store and exposed them. Thev were each fined $5 and costs by Police Magistrate John J.
