- Eugene Earl Maris, 77, of Wonder Lake, passed away on June 26, 2013, at Bridgeway of Bensonville.He was born Jan. 26, 1936, in Heyworth, to George and Sarah Gladys Maris. He was husband to Donna Bryant, who he married on July 4, 1959. He is survived by his wife, his children, Debra Sewell, Douglas Maris, and Susan Maris; a brother, Ron Maris; and a sister Marilyn Maris. He was preceded in dath by his parents, and his son, David Maris. Burial will be in Chrystal Lake Memorial Park on June 29.
