- Gerald "JB" Bennett, 61, of Cary, died October 16, 2013 in Chicago. He was born May 5, 1952 in Lebanon, Indiana to Vernell and Gerald Bennett Sr. He was the husband of Deborah, whom he was married to for 34 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vernell Bennett. He is survived by his father, Gerald, his siblings, Paulette (Bud) Haas, Rich (Sara Schmelzer) Bennett and Kathy Bennett, his brother-in-law, Fred (Julie) Schulte, twelve nieces and nephews, and six great-nieces and nephews.
