- Wanda G. Palmer, 91, of Johnsburg, died October 9, 2013 at JourneyCare Hospice in Woodstock. She was born August 15, 1922 in Grayslake to Jeppe and Arenta (Christensen) Jepsen. She was the mother of Sandra (Richard) Kollenkark, Linda (Dennis) Petersen, and Rocky (Donna) Palmer. She was the wife of Harvey V. Palmer, whom she married November 14, 1943 at Ivanhoe Church in Mundelein. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and four siblings, Nils "Bud", Betty, Marie, and Lola. She is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother-in-law. Inurnment will be at Ivanhoe Cemetery in Mundelein.
