- Ernest J. La Bay, 91, of ohnsburg, died February 1, 2014 in Crystal Lake. He was born July 18,1922 in Crystal Falls, MI to Miklos and Irene (Novak) La Bay. He was the father of Bonnie (Stephen) Brase, Carol (Ron) Krumsee, and Cathie D'Agostino. He was the husband of Lou whom he married on July 5, 1947 in Combined Locks, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his children, his grandchildren, John (Leslie) Nelson, Ronald (Michelle) Krumsee, Jeffrey (Tracy) Krumsee, and Michael D'Agostino; his great-grandchildren, Jackson and Blake Nelson, Tyler, Joey, and Hannah Krumsee, and Nolan, Kendall, Katelyn, Jason, Jacob, and Riley Krumsee; and his sisters, Rose (late Red) Chiesa and Margaret (late Russell) Smithson.
