- James Charles O'Connor, 78, of Cary, died January 31, 2014. H was born December 2, 1935 in Chicago to Francis O'Connor and Loretta Marie (nee DeMol) O'Connor. He was the father of Karen (Michael) Detloff, Kathy (John) Guzak, Gayle Gillman, and Ellen (Scott) Drahos. He was the husband of Diane Frances Dembowski whom he married on October 19, 1957. He was preceded in death by his parents,and his siblings, Frank O'Connor, Rosemary (Bob) Clement, and Kathy Byrne. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and many others.
