- Jesse F. Rodgers, 87, of Oakwood Hills, died January 31, 2014 at his home. He was born November 9, 1926 in Brownsville, Illinois to Elbert and Mildred Rodgers. He was the father of Craig (Barbara) Rodgers and Denise (Nate) Mortimer, as well as the adoptive father of Lesley Smith. He was the husband of Joan M. Rodgers. He was preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by his children, six grandchildren, Heidi (Danny) Panella, Justin Mortimer, Jeremy (Hollie) Mortimer, Jenelle Mortimer, Eric Rodgers, and Kristy Rodgers, nine great grandchildren, and his sisters, Marion Rizzo and Manthel Krazel. Burial will be at Windbridge Memorial Park.
