- Lawrence "Larry" C. Dhom, 88, of Woodstock, died February 5, 2014 Centegra Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. He was born on June 8, 1925 in Newton to Charles and Josephine (Loebmeier) Dhom. He was the father of David C. (Maribeth) Dhom, Mary Godwin, Peggy (Larry) Smith, Patricia J. Dhom, and Lawrence E. Dhom. He was the husband of Shirley M. Salzman whom he married on November 8, 1947 in Woodstock. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his daughter Patricia, his son Lawrence, a son-in-law Michael Godwin, a brother Vincent, and three sisters, Sally, Christine, and Esther. He is survived by his children, David, Mary, and Peggy, a daughter-in-law Peggy Dhom, his fifteen grandchildren, his fifteen great-grandchildren, a brother Charles (Evelyn) Dhom, and a sister Florence Mason. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock.
