- John R. "Bob" McSweeney, 73, of Harvard, died February 20, 2014 at Valley Hi Nursing Home in Hartland. He was born December 18, 1940 in Elkhorn, WI to John Walter and Rachel (Smith) McSweeney. He was the father of Jennifer (Greg) Majewicz, Julianne (Bruce) Tracey, and Sean (Delicia) McSweeney. He was the husband of Laurette Lee whom he married on November 13, 1965 in Harvard. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, his children, his grandchildren, Caitlyn Frey, Austin Tracey, Teagen McSweeney, Brett Tracey, and Killian McSweeney; his great-granddaughter Hailey Frey; and his sisters, Kay Cross and Mary Ellen Rand. Burial will be in McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
