- Esther M. Walter, 78, died February 25, 2014 at JourneyCare in Woodstock. She was born August 12, 1935 in Chicago to Absalom and Francis (Garr) Eshoo. She was the mother of Linda Geng, David (Agatha) Walter, Debra Walter, and Kevin Walter. She was the wife of Harold E. Walter whom she married on May 2, 1959 at Zion Lutheran Church in McHenry. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert. She is survived by her husband, her children, and her grandchildren, Faithe, Bethany, K.J., Erick, and Emily. Burial will be private.
