Farewell Concert 'A farewell concert will be given to Mme. Fidella Densmore Papa Tharsdey evening, December ‘14, on her departure for Europe. The older inhabitants of Winnetka have heard “Dell Dinsmore” sing from her childhood, andtit is difficult to call her by any other name. The concert might be called an operatic concert, as those who take part are operatic singers, and for the sake of giving a program, which could net often be heard in Winnetka, they , have made selections from the Operas which they have sung. The name “Gottscbalk” is well knoWn in America, as Mr. Gottschalk has sung in grand opera herd; and because his brothei‘, the pianist and composer, became so celebrated that his name is a household word. .Mr. L. A. Phelps has been heard here' in opera and» in the Thomas concerts. Besides having a fine tenor voice, Mn Phelps is a' very gifted and accomplished pianist.
