The subject of the day was “Amusements and Locomotion of the Revolutionary and Colonial Periods," Mrs. Sewall Truax being the essayist. Appropriate exhibits of pictures of coaches and taverns of the same period were shown. Delightful music was ren- dered by Mia Darleen Jones. who gave several piano selections. The meeting was followed by refreshments and a social hour. Mrs. F. E. Davis of Ft. Sheridan. en- tertained last week Thursday at an in- formhl two table bridge for Mrs. George Williams of Norfolk.
