PAGE EIGHT WORK FOR FRENCH WOUNDED ADVANCE The amount accomplished is as follows: rolled bandages, 339; knee bandages, 14; eye bandages. 40; bed pads. 53; sponges, 283 packages. 10 to a package: 1 metre 150. packages. 3 to a package, pajamas, 8; knitted mats. 25: knitted sponges. 6; slip- pen 40 pairs; 41 small pillows; 4 bundles scraps: 63 glass covers: 31 tray covers. There was a contribuâ€" tion of 720 pairs of socks. HQ worth of bulk cotton and 810 for slippers was also given. These latter were sent direct to Paris from the shop at. 60 E. Washington 31.. Chicago. where all supplies may be brought at any time. Each week the- articles finished in Highland Park, are taken to this shop and from there are taken as quivkly as possible to wherever they are most needed in France.
