Put- nam got a phone call from the Army and Navy Center advising that a crowd of sailors and soldiers were nn hand expecting “something do- my" the regular Saturday evening dance of the War (‘amp Community Service was Scheduled for Saturday. January 4th. bht nothing had been planned for New Year's Exe. The girls started a round robin of phoning and by 3 p. m'.. 400 girls were reached by phone and at 8:30 a full nrchestrq was jazzing away on a two step and [he Riot Call Dance 0! 1919 was in full sway.
