Shurtlefl' Given Unanimous Vote in This District ». The convention was called to order by Arthur E. Johnson of Rockford, chairman of the Winnebago county delegation. Upon motion James M. Huff of Belviderc was nominated for chairman and William J. Smith of Waukegan, Lake county, was nomin- ated for sci-rotary. Following their election as temporary officers or- ganization be permanent and the call for the convention was read.
