Andrews; attended Champaign schools, confirmed in March 1940 at First Presbyterian Church of Champaign; graduate of U. of Illinois in business, member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity; served as Sergeant in U.S. Army Signal Corps; first job with Armstrong Cork Co. in Atlanta GA; worked for non-academic personnel office in U. of Illinois & with Eastern Illinois U. in Charleston IL; moved to Evanston IL for various jobs including Summey-Birchard Company; worked 10 years for First Presbyterian Church of Evanston; served as Elder, usher and member of committees & Bible study groups; lived at King Home in Evanston since 1993, active in chorus, play reading groups, King Home Council & Bible studies, organized 1st talent show
