Age 80; resident of Wilmette IL; graduate of Evanston H.S., attended Beloit College; served in U.S. Air Force during Korean War; attended Marquette, then Northwestern U., majored in electrical engineering; worked ten years for a consulting engineering firm, became plant manager for a candy manufacturer, moved to general contracting; 1977 started own construction firm, then founded a secnd firm specializing in concrete construction; enjoyed sports, played baseball, football, basketball & hockey, later golf, hunting and fishing; enjoyed theater, committed to public service, served nine years as director of St. Scholastica H.S. & nine years as director of Michigan Shores Club, president & vice president of Wilmette Optimist Club; preceded in death by his wife, Yolanda
