Age 88; resident of North Carolina; born in East Orange NJ to Harold Lauren Boyle and Alma Long Boyle; grew up in Lockney TX before moving to Illinois; member of Troop 13 Boy Scouts in Kenilworth, graduate/officer of New Trier Class of 1942, member of swim team; attended Marion Military Institute in Marion AL, enlisted in U.S. Marine Corps, graduated from boot camp, platoon 57 in 1943, accepted into Marine Raiders, served as Marine officer during WWII and in Korea Conflict, graduate of Armored School at Ft. Knox, Amphibious Warfare School at Quantico VA and Chemical, Biological & Radiological Warfare School in Maryland; graduate of U. of California in Berkeley, member of Beta Beta (senior honor society), Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and Skull & Keys Honor Society; attended graduate school at Cornell U., graduated from Oliver Wendell Holmes Leadership School in Washington D.C.; managed stores for W.T.
