Survived by: her three daughters, Irene Hastings and Marion Rudolph, both of Wheeling, and Mildred Marschall of Florence, CO; a son, Howard L. Braun of Wilmette, two sisters, Eleanor Simpson of Wilmette and Theresa Pearson of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Susan Braun, a 68-year resident of Wilmette, died at Brookwood Health care Center in DesPlaines. She was 90. Mrs. Braun was born on her parents farm in Shermerville (now Northbrook). She later moved to Glenview, and then to Wilmette shortly after her marriage. Her husband, Herman Braun, died in 1932. A mass was said at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wilmette.
