Age 82; at 15, the youngest student enrolled at Fordham U. in New York; served in U.S.Army during and after WWII, in charge of administrative and non-medical services at a dispensary/hospital in Seoul, Korea, honorably discharged in 1946; graduate of U. of Miami and law degree from Georgetown U. in Washington, DC; senior trial attorney in Department of Justice; joined law department of International Minerals and Chemical Corporation in Chicago in 1965, retired in 1990 as Senior VP, Secretary and General Counsel of IMC Fertilizer Group, based in Northbrook; in retirement served as arbitrator for American Arbitration Association, National Association of Securities Dealers and Cook County Circuit Court; adjunct professor at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management; member of Bars of Washington, DC, Illinois and New York, fourth degree member of Knights of Columbus, American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and American Society of Corporate Secretaries, Administrative Assistant to VP of Boy Scouts of America (N.E. Illinois area), president of Fund for Perceptually Handicapped Children and North Shore Special Education District organization (C.H.I.L.D.), Coast Guard Auxiliary in Wilmette Harbor, IL; volunteer for (Meals at Home(; member of Sts. Faith, Hope and Charity Catholic Church in Winnetka and Holy Redeemer Catholic Chruch in Palm City, FL
