Survived by: wife, Jean Campbell; three sons, Robert, Charles and James; and a sister, Frances Beck.
Age 73, Campbell was a former vice president and director fo Walgreen Company. He joined Walgreens in 1934 as a real estate negotiator, and was promoted to director of real estate for walgreens in 1949. In 1955 he was elected vice president in charge of real estate, manufacturing, engineering and store planning. He was elected to the Board of Directors of Walgreens in 1957; vice president of insurance and finance in 1963 and then company treasurer. Campbell retired in 1972 and continued as a consultant until 1977. He attended the University of Wisconsin; and was active in civic and friendship clubs in his community.
